OPERATIONS / SYSTEM SUPPORT

  • Led year long (monthly workshops) collaboration and internal customer initiative to improve workflow, lower error and expense, transform external customer experience.

ADVISORY BOARD / CEO CONSULTATIONS

  • Coached first-time CEOs; designed and implemented new “Vision, Mission and Values” process for new leadership and strategy socialization plan; designed and delivered off-sites on strategy and innovation.
  • Created innovation programs for executive teams; designed and delivered innovation and employee engagement program for company undergoing dramatic strategy change; created integration and engagement program following double merger.
  • Provided leadership briefings on emergent issues (Cyber risk, Big Data, IOT, intangible risk, etc.).
  • Created customized training for Spanish, German, UK and Italian businesses on innovation; and delivered training for French and Latin American teams on new product development.

GEOGRAPHIC EXPANSION

  • Created roadmap for new market entry and reinvention of strategy (after a crisis and competitor consolidation) for existing but under-performing territory.
  • Wrote plan for new product and distribution opportunity in Transactional Risk arena; assessed viability (in collaboration with underwriters and broker distribution) of new to market multi-line offering in Central America and new to jurisdiction mono-line offering in Turkey.
  • Advised on turn-around plan for stalled Cyber strategy in Europe.
  • Advised on agricultural risks start-up and long term benefits start-up.

INNOVATION & GROWTH

  • Developed 10 new products in P&C Consumer market; 5 new products in Commercial P&C; 4 new annuity and 5 new Life products in Life & Retirement segment; 1 risk control/management service.
  • Delivered P&C product growth in new international markets; penetrated new customer segments.
  • Delivered strategy for shareholder approval (and for submission to capital providers) for new subsidiary (a portfolio excess layer quota share multi-line Underwriting Agency).
